The game starts to get interesting following the GZ's first advance into QUa's territory. GZ had infantry and fighters and did fairly well until Qua's AA's appeared. GZ showed good control to get his fighters out of there, only losing one plane.
Qua seemed unfamiliar with this type of map because when he attempted to do his frax rush he placed his barracks much too far away from GZ's base. He may have been confused because there was a second berry bush located near the center of the big island. If he had placed the barracks closer, the game could have been a lot different.
Both players did a good job of expanding there territories and building new TC's. There was not much time elapsed with idle villagers. GZ did a good job of landing on the smaller island to the south for unharrased resources. Both players utilized fishing boats for quick food reserves. The key to GZ's victory was that he had the superior airforce and armor. Qua reluctantly build a small airforce with about 4 fighters and concentrated on infantry and A/t's to counter GZ's tanks. Even though France's tanks are not very good, QUa needed something heavier to counter GZ's sherman's. He did not even build a tank factory but continued to concentrate on all infantry.
Good game by two players with much higher rank than me. ;)
