The British during the 1700's attack 2 French Towns in an effort to get revenge. The French Milita and the French Army are willing to sacrafice anything to stop the invaders.
Considering this was made pretty much right after Empires release, I have to cut it some slack.
Basically you begin with a huge infantry army. You also have a base in the NE, but it seems only to be eye candy along with 2 barracks that don't really serve much purpose since you can't gather any resources.
The starting introduction was nice, but seemed forced. Could only see the Captain's horse too.
Probably a 3 in playability since the biggest challenge was simply finding where the enemy's towns were. They were easily destroyed and the French armies were extremely small, I still had at least 40 men by the end. Giving a 2 in Balance.
Map had some features with roads, forests, hills, and towns, but none of which were very striking or good to the eye. Some more animals, some birds, a little pond or something would of been nice. A 3ish score here too.
Story was present with the British Captain wishing to revenge the French by destroying their towns, not sure revenge for what, but the purpose was still there. The instructions were clear though I had no idea where the enemy towns were. A 3 or 4 here.
