    I was always fascinated by things getting stuck into cliffs in EE, so here's a few practical uses of that quirk in Empires- Dawn:

    Plane Cliff Crash Scene 2- Smoke
    Plane Cliff Crash Scene 7- Fire

    as with any Eye Candy, it won't help you win the scenario, but it'll be nice to pass by it!
    .
    .
    hmm... see anything wrong with the titles?

    is tedman333's pic eye candy? maybe, but it is Salvadore Dali art (or a commie worker poster!)

    Sky Candy

    That is no ordinary Empires- Dawn sky; four effects went into this one:

    ~~~~~~the easiest to see is the stock lightening, looped at 2000ms (500 for capturing pics)
    ~~~~~~the next is smokeless flame, increased 10x in size, looped at 500ms, placed in three places central to the battle
    ~~~~~~third is the smoke trail for the apocalypse effect, scale x10, looped at 5000ms, in a small area at the center of battle
    ~~~~~~last, in the background, barely visible are a few volcano effects (not the volcanos themselves), looped at 10000ms (don't want to create lag), to add smoke in the background. I also had to bury the volcano effects at -4 depth and put hills in front of them to hide their weenie fire effects.

    so may I never see a stock battle sky again!

    Who can guess what this Empires- Dawn mystery picture is: What Am I?

    Yes, stalingrad is great. Although you could add some grass objects here and there to make it look even better!

    And...you might well need to come up with a different name from stalingrad mainly due to this http://www.scnnetwork.com/manager/index.php?option=articles&task=viewarticle&artid=17&Itemid=3

    Well i was planing to make an Operation Barbarossa campain, and then name the stalingrad-scenario: Wintergewitter (the name of the unsuccessful attempt to free the encircled 6th army at stalingrad).

    There were several scenarios for Empire Earth that came out before mine with the name Stalingrad. Anyone can name his or her scenario anything want, even if the name already exists for another scenario. I do not think that anyone will be confusing your Stalingrad with mine as they are for 2 different games and after Heavengames screw up no one will be able to play the Stalingrad for Empire Earth anyway.
    posted 11-01-03 01:30 PM EDT (US)     65 / 560
    I don't think Linosus has to change his scenario's name to anything else just there already exists/someone is working on a Stalingrad-scenario, as Intrepid said.

    It's such a common name too. It's not like his scenario is called 'Rage of the Dutch Fisherman' :P

    Ambush It is a shame that terrain blending does not work as well as other editors.

    looks indeed like an ambush.

    i am also a bit dissapointed about the textures. It's hard to make variations.
