yes, more weird stuff

-if you replace an impassable tile that is underwater with a 1 tile building, it will stay underwater.

-if you replace an impassable tile that is underwater with a building that is more than 1 tile, it will float on the surface of the water

-if you replace a boat with a land unit, the land unit will stay in the water

all three shown here

mosque, 2 minarets and a monk

The second one is awesome. I've been wanting to make a floating city since before the game came out! Thanks!

Is there a way to make land units movable on water or on top of buildings? For example, if I put two buildings close to each others on a lake and make a "Floating path" between them with logs, is there any way I can make a citizen actually walk over the water (making it look like he or she is walking on the logs)?

unfortunately it does not appear that you can replace stuff with GAIA objects (that would rock), so you couldn't have the logs there in the first place. I'll be testing to see if they can walk on water later today
