Dry Dock:

Screenshots
An overview of the Dry Dock.
A closer view of the area around the ship.
A close-up of the closed gates.
The open Dry Dock seen from the outside.
Another view of the inside of the Dry Dock.

Description
This is an Enlighs medieval dry dock big enough for one ship. It comes with some (port/maintenance) buildings, crates, workers, and other eye-candy, and the gates of the dry dock can be closed.

Background
To make this dry dock, I first made a narrow inlet by playing around with elevation. Then I placed two gates on either side of the inlet and placed a soldier, shrinked so that they would not be visible, close enough to the gates to make them stay open. When they opened, the opened gate door covered the opening of the dry dock.

After the gate was done, I added a ship and eye-candy.

Issues
After I had finished the dry dock I realised that the opening apparently isn't big enough for ships to pass trough. I daresay it still might look good in scenarios, though.

PS: I'm not actually maing a scenario featuring the Dry Dock (for now, at least. I just added the objectives and the damaged ship to give you an impression of what you can do with the Dry Dock.

Looks good, except a full view of the dock would be nice, and maybe less close ups. Good work though.

So, you could make a modern dry dock (not floating, though) the same way, just using modern units and buildings, right?

Well, in hindsight.

Except from the fact that there are no modern (unless you count WW1 and 2) units and buildings? Sure.

I count WWI and WWII as modern. I basically consider the whole twentieth century basically modern.
