Project you've always wanted to make, your utopical dream scenario, that you haven't been able to create or design for unknown reasons. Maybe the foundation (scenario editor), units, time and etc just wasn't there to create it, in either case is the dream still a dream... I guess I'm asking you to spill the beans thrusting that some devious person won't steal your idea, but even if that happens, shouldn't you then just be happy that someone has realized the dream?
I actually got two "projects" that I've been dying to create, but due to some of the aforementioned reasons haven't I been able to create them, I guess that it isn't only the talent of the designer that matters, but also his tools and surroundings...
Al Ghouti is a campaign based on the trilogy of historical novels tracking the life of Arn Magnusson, born in 1150 to an aristocratic Swedish family. You follow Arn from boyhood to his participation in the crusades. It gives a truly unique insight into the historical realities of the day, from papal influence to pagan kings, the rise of Islam and militant Christianity and their crossroads in the battles for control of Jerusalem. The fictional characters are well developed, the historical detail legion and the intrigue spun like the finest tapestry of the time round plots and subplots with a firm thread holding it all together, making the books pure pleasure to read and a ideal foundation for an epic and engrossing campaign.I've been wanting make this campaign since I first toyed around with the Empire Earth editor, however, first the brighting future that was Empires, and later on the specific lacks of it, has made me delay the campaign until a game, Empire Earth 2 *naturally*, offers me the tools needed to avoid bending, cutting, and reinventing the story.

I find this civil war to be one of the most intriguing wars ever to have been fought, and due to the events that occurred in it: Perfect for a campaign/scenario.I actually managed to gather a ton of free music, edit it, and create campaign and loading screens; besides actually working on the first of the scenarios. However, I became overwhelmed by my undertaking and became certain of the flaws associated with my approach to the project. Having planned a scenario of almost each of the significant battles of the war(s) was I facing a total of nearly 20 scenarios that had to be made; Impossible, when you consider the fact that I will accept no less than perfection I'm way to ambitious... I have nevertheless taken a new approach to the project and are designing the various aspects of it, however, It probably won't appear before the "mañana" that is Empire Earth 2...As if...
