Project you've always wanted to make, your utopical dream scenario, that you haven't been able to create or design for unknown reasons. Maybe the foundation (scenario editor), units, time and etc just wasn't there to create it, in either case is the dream still a dream... I guess I'm asking you to spill the beans thrusting that some devious person won't steal your idea, but even if that happens, shouldn't you then just be happy that someone has realized the dream?

I actually got two "projects" that I've been dying to create, but due to some of the aforementioned reasons haven't I been able to create them, I guess that it isn't only the talent of the designer that matters, but also his tools and surroundings...

Al Ghouti is a campaign based on the trilogy of historical novels tracking the life of Arn Magnusson, born in 1150 to an aristocratic Swedish family. You follow Arn from boyhood to his participation in the crusades. It gives a truly unique insight into the historical realities of the day, from papal influence to pagan kings, the rise of Islam and militant Christianity and their crossroads in the battles for control of Jerusalem. The fictional characters are well developed, the historical detail legion and the intrigue spun like the finest tapestry of the time round plots and subplots with a firm thread holding it all together, making the books pure pleasure to read and a ideal foundation for an epic and engrossing campaign.

I've been wanting make this campaign since I first toyed around with the Empire Earth editor, however, first the brighting future that was Empires, and later on the specific lacks of it, has made me delay the campaign until a game, Empire Earth 2 *naturally*, offers me the tools needed to avoid bending, cutting, and reinventing the story.

I don't know if any of you has ever heard of the War of The Roses (not the bad movie), but the English civil war following the 100 years war against France. I find this civil war to be one of the most intriguing wars ever to have been fought, and due to the events that occurred in it: Perfect for a campaign/scenario.

I actually managed to gather a ton of free music, edit it, and create campaign and loading screens; besides actually working on the first of the scenarios. However, I became overwhelmed by my undertaking and became certain of the flaws associated with my approach to the project. Having planned a scenario of almost each of the significant battles of the war(s) was I facing a total of nearly 20 scenarios that had to be made; Impossible, when you consider the fact that I will accept no less than perfection I'm way to ambitious... I have nevertheless taken a new approach to the project and are designing the various aspects of it, however, It probably won't appear before the "mañana" that is Empire Earth 2...

As if...

I have one scenario that I've been trying to make for about a year and a half now. It's realistic fantasy.

I think I have the basic plot written down somewhere. I'll have to go look for it.

It is so funny. I was thinking of starting a thread exactly like this one. My Dream scenario is....

Timeline: A mulitplayer scenario, either all players against eachother, or all player working together for the goal of correcting a paradox in time that causes a continual time loop of events. Or players moving back and forth through time changing events to create
a favorable outcome to win the game.

I have a few good ideas already, and triggers to do it, I just can't figure out how a basic gameplay would bring it all together.

I've had a million and one ideas, no real "one". BF1942 CTF Iwo Jimo map, a KOTOR/Asian inspired campaign, time traveling campaign, ridculous amounts of ideas that never pass over a week or two. But I am working on a current one that's probably the most involved I've ever gotten.

Grex, Imhotep, Jaded Knights, Punks, University, Glows, Facility, Trade Center, Stainless Steel Studios.

This isn't a scenario or campaign, but rather a feature that I'd wish would be incorporated in some scenarios, as it is severally lacking: Dynamic difficulty.

Shouldn't it be fairly easy to accomplish it with triggers?

I really like this idea.

i made a CTF map that is based off Halo's blood gulch. right now it has shotgunners, snipers, and basic rifles. im going to add rocket(sergeant), plasma rifle(x-bow!), and maybe a pistol. took me forever to get the capture the flag part completely right.

Completed: CTF 2v2
Working on: Battle of Cambrai, CTF 4v4, and more.
Future campaign: Dawn of the Modern World.

Ive always wanted an exact replica of the world, with WWII borders, Axis and Allies is close but i still need to work on it its gonna take me a while, its hard cuz noone wants to play a 4.5MB map, just too much lag and thats what im really workin on, ive gotten it down to 3.4 once its below 3 im planning on perfecting the map and then condensing with triggers again, anyway, yea, ive wanted to do it since AOE, but no matter how many jannisarys i put it wasnt the same.

Completed Projects: Fight to the Finish 1-2, Axis and Allies 1-2

Future Projects: Vietnam [On Hold], Battle for Middle Earth [Active], Axis and Allies 2.5 [On Hold], Axis and Allies Europe [Preparing], Axis and Allies Pacific [Dream]

A game of Chess featuring carefully selected blocks of units as each piece, only the pieces would experience attrition. Movement would be controlled by chat inputs and off-map/on map triggers. Once two 'pieces' were in the same 'square' they'd battle. I'll probably do a simple game of checkers first to see if it's feasible.
