What is your favorite game of all time?
That’s like asking what your favorite food of all time is. I’ve played dozens, upon dozens of games since the 80’s. I had about 30 games for the Atari, 100 games for Nintendo, nearly 50 for the SNES and over 200 for the PC. Not to mention the other 50 or so games I’ve played for the N64, Genesis, Xbox and PS2 and the countless games I’ve rented over the years. I can only give a list of my top 5: X-Com: UFO Defense, Command HQ, Tecmo Super Bowl III, Doom II and Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe.

If you could make your own game, what would be the theme?
Strategic WWII. It would harken back to the days of ‘beer and pretzel’ gaming such as Command HQ. Something not as complex as Hearts of Iron, but not limited like Strategic Command. It would be brilliant.

What are your hobbies, besides games?
I like writing amateur fiction. I have a handful of highly rated stories at www.fanstory.com, under the name “Hank”. I used to play a lot of paintball until I moved out to Boston. It’ll be nice to get back to kicking some real FPS butt someday.

What music are you currently listening to?
The new Anthrax album. I’ve also been listening to Audioslave, and I like movie soundtracks such as “Heat” and “Gladiator” while I’m working on scenarios. I’ll toss in some Deftones and 311 once in awhile for good measure.

What is your favorite cartoon character?
Spongebob Squarepants. The guy makes me laugh, what can I say.
