King Henry V of England and his army of 7000 longbowmen and 1500 knights & men-at-arms have been blocked on their way to Calais by a mighty host of over 35000 French nobles, bowmen and men-at-arms, including heavy cavalry.
A recently ploughed, muddy field lies between the two armies, and forests protect Henry V's flanks. The French have no choice but to attack from the front.
Slugging it out in the mud while wearing 60 pounds of heavy armor, the French knights are decimated by the expert English and Welsh longbowmen, and then finished by the English men-at-arms.
The battle, which seemed doomed to failure, turned into a resounding victory for England.
