Settlement placement is more important than you think. If you use a settlement for two resources, place it in such a way that the gatherers for both types are on the same side to begin with.
I use way points to have my cits choose where to collect after they are done building the settlement. Other people use building outlines, but I like waypoints better so all my B.O.s use those. (It does make a difference.)

Excellent finding. I bow down to you beKind!. It is amazing that know one has figured this anti-rush for USA before. I think that everyone will be using this against Rush. Boy I feel sorry for the next France player who tries to proxy against someone who has viewed this recording. He or She will be in for a rude awakening for sure. ;)
Additional Comments:
Major point is that the two resources that have to be next to each other for this to succeed is WOOD and GOLD. This is a must or it will not work. I have already made a adaption similar to Anti-rush #2 but allowing for economy to pick up a little sooner with still 1st DB by 2:53 f11 and 11 DB's by 9:13 f11 time. Shows what you can find out with this game if you practice enough. Good Job!
