This was a pretty good game with an unorthodox strategy by the German player. Using walls to secure his starting position and resources was a wise decision against a quick France player. A strat that would be considered noobish to most action players was anything but.
The France player although talented built the wrong units (freedom fighters) to counter mostly speed increased soldat's, ranged mortars and AT's. Because of the walls IMO the france player should have built long range Arty and massed smokers (easy to criticize from Bench see recorded game on page 3 No_Clans_Here vs SaS Machine). A second option would have been to build additonal Bombers, since French planes have decent hitpoints.
France also did a poor job of scouting, and only attacked the main base completely ignoring any possibilty of resource gathering outside the base. Overall a pretty good game with good micro, specifically by the German player. In one sequence the French player enters the German base with a mix of mostly flamers, freedom fighers, some infantry and a few smokers. The German player did a great job retreating to the rear of the base where his mortars could do maximum damage from a longer distance.
Additional Comments:
Good game, with absolutely no chatting during the whole contest it is a shame the German player had to trash talk after the French player admitted defeat. Poor sportmanship. :(

Elfen Lied was not aggressive enough and failed to raid citizens, instead always trying a direct frontal assault.
SAS-100s did a better job of expanding his economy and that's what won the game.
SAS shows that battlefield deception is particularly potent against flamethrowers as is battlefield deception immediately followed by gas.
The wall had no effect unless, ironically, it was the reason Lied always attacked head on. Maybe he didn't want to look foolish walking around it, or he was afraid of shell damage while going around. There was plenty of base to attack outside the wall anyway.
