Playability: 4

The game played smoothly with not much lagg. The game is extremely addictive and the we ended up playing the game several times, unfortunately losing everytime :(. The game is pretty hard.

Balance: 4

As I mentioned the game is pretty hard and this version is supposed to be the toned down version with increased attack for the hero units. The designer needs to tweak maybe a little more. Players may become discouraged by losing everytime. However we made it to the underground tunnel with just three players once.

Creativity: 5

The game shines here. There is no other game out there like this. Not LOTR or any other scenario. It is fun to control one individual hero without worrying about resources and such. The game feels like a commando game. It is fun having to watch your fellow units backs and also your health. The mutants are a pain in the neck though.

Map Design: 3

Although I get the feeling the designer spent a lot of time on this map it could be better in terms of effects. The map looks good but he could have used some other effects especially in the Tunnel where it was difficult to navigate your hero. Maybe use the replace effect for the walls. The night effect simulating a dark tunnel was very good though.

Story/Instructions: 3

The story is pretty good, and the objectives are pretty clear, however you tend to forget what the objectives are while playing. Maybe the designer could set a constant flare to remind the player where to go after each mission. Also create a larger area of visibility for the objective areas.
Additional Comments:

Very fun game which is what it is all about. I recommend downloading it and playing with your friends.

Additional comments, The game is actually more balanced than I originally stated. We won the game and it was due to my poor play that I rated it as originally a three.

Thanks for the rating. I spent over 2 months off and on making this game as it was my first real game submitted to Empires Heaven. In fact it is my first real game created period. I thought my map design was pretty unique as it gave the impression that it was a lot bigger than it was although some other designers said it was a little too linear. However it was a learning experience and I am picking up new things with the editor all the time. As far as the difficulty I tested this game with some fellow designers who originally felt it was too easy. But I did get a complaint from a couple of players that the game was hard which is why I created this slightly different version. Glad you thought it was fun!!
