Topic Subject:Firewall blocking people from joining my hosted games

ok... ive looked around and done the following...
disabled every firewall i can find, opened the ports... but i dont think they have a SPECIFIC destination...
i do have a wireless router connected to my dsl router... i have no clue what to do, and i really dont know what happened, 1 day i could host and have it work, the next i cant...

First thing to do is see if your ports are really "open". Go to https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 and select the "User-Specified Custom Port Probe" and test the Empires port numbers to see if you're actually being screened by one of your routers or a software firewall.
It may be that you simply haven't opened all the necessary ports on one of your security devices/services - that's a lot of crap to have to manage before anything gets to your system. If you have a software firewall, you may have to expressly permit Empires to act as a "server" - as I do.
But I promise, if all those ports are actually open/available to the Empires app., you'll be able to host. I have a software firwall that makes my system totally stealth to the world - but I can still host Empires NP - and I actually DO NOT recommend disabling your firewall or opening ports (globally) just to play any game online.

ok so it said all of them were stealth except 113.. which is closed... which 1s do i open?
