After recent posts by Intrepid and other Forumers, it seems it is difficult to find good SCN testers in the action room. Although I have had some success finding decent testers, there is no guarantee that they will be online that given day. I suggest using the Ladder room on Gamespy for all your testing needs. Just post here on EmpiresHeaven and let other designers know when you would like to test your game. There is no doubt that there is a significant advantage in using other designers in testing games than picking random players in the Action room. Moderator I ask that this thread be a running one to post new test dates and for designers to respond accordingly when they can help.

I will be the first to post. An update to my Scenario "The Greenhill Project". In SP mode the game is running very well, with very few minor adjustments that must be made. All 4 cinematics have been received well by all tester so far who have been able to play the game. However I am having difficulty with players being out of synch while Playing on GameSpy. I am not sure what is causing this, but would welcome any designers who can offer feedback if they have experienced this. It may be caused by some of the players settings in their editor. Enabling cheat codes could cause this problem, but I am not sure. Also one of my hero units once the game starts is automatically defeated. I have checked all triggers and effects and there doesn't appear to be a problem. The Hero in SP mode is not defeated. Anyone who has time to help me test this game and hopefully figure out the MP shortcomings please post. Preferable days and times are Tuesday evenings around 5pm EST. Also some Friday evenings around the same time frame. If anyone desires a copy of the unfinished SCN, I will upload to the Miscellaneous DL section in Empiresheaven or better yet e-mail it to you

No one has a game that needs beta testing??? I find that hard to believe. Don't let this thread die, it is a great way to test your games.

If no one uses this then it'll have to be removed/changed.

I suggest you setup a simple list. Name of Designer, Name of Scn, Players Needed, Times Available, Misc. details, etc.

No its not your fault adder, it was mine I got caught up at work later than expected. Don't know if anyone can try again tomorrow around 12:00 noon est. Or anytime up until 2:30 pm est.

A complete success in determining the problem with my out of Synch problems. I had suspected it was the cinematics causing it and Intrepid confirmed my thoughts. The game runs smoothly now and I am adding some tweaks as suggested by Park, Adder and Intrepid.
