I know an airport can hold up to 15 units. If the units are out on patrol and begin engaging the enemy I can never get a good count of what's in the air or not. It's frustrating not knowing if I should build a bomber or fighter for support. Is there any way to determine how many and what type of units are active at a selected airport?

When you click on a hanger, small icons appear at the bottom of the screen indicating how many and what type of planes are inside. These icons disappear when the planes are out on a mission. I want to know if there is a way to determine how many and what types of planes I have for a selected airport when they are not in the hanger. Savvy?

hit "f" twice and i believe it selects all fighters, and "b" twice to select all bombers.

I remember reading that. It doesn't specify if that is for all aircraft from one airport or from all of your airports. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Can anyone verify this is? Thanks.

I have the same problem. It's sort of annoying. It selects ALL bombers/fighters and there's no button or command to select planes from a certain airport or tell them to withdraw to their "home" airport. It's frustrating for someone like me who mixes fighters/bombers in airports so that if an airport goes down my force is still balanced.

If you have constant air patrols set up, try putting your bombers and fighters into groups. Assuming you haven't tried that already......
