Well, I was able to get a look at the video interview. It really doesn't tell that much of new information, kind of puzzled as to why Gamespot filled up timespace with old screenshots. Rick makes mention of the "action" and "empire building" modes, mostly that action resources will expire quickly, and games are more fine tuned towards multiplayer, rushing, and quick games. There were a couple of short 5-10 second video clips I never saw before like the Russian rockets taking down buildings, but overall no real new info.
Wow great preview. But look at those new Screenshots, wow the graphics are the best I have ever seen
What I just said is a lie.

No russian campaign. It must have been a scenario made specifically for the preview.

Something I reacted to in the preview was that russians had molotov cocktails. Now, to my knowledge, molotov cocktails were - at least first - used by the Finnish army in the winter war, against the Russian tanks and general Molotov, thus the name. Perhaps the Russians noticed the effectiveness of the weapon and started using it afterwards?
I love that ability... won me a 2v2 earlier today w/it.

Yes...it's a way for the Commissar to 'encourage' the rest of the troops to fight harder.
Da?! Oh my God.. what bothers me is how you decide to add those things..
Talking about the Red Army, look at the screenshot with the Soviet army advancing across the river and the guy who climbs over the barbed fence.
I just have to ask what walls can be scaled by soldiers. Will soldiers risk taking damage from crossing a barbed fence? And can tanks run down barbed fences?
Oh, and from watching that tank fire past the soldiers: There won't be any friendly fire in the game, save from the Russian "friendly fire for the rodina", right?
