To what extend can we manage musics in the editor? For example, I always wanted the ability to allow a music to "fade in" and "fade out", and is it possible to stop a sound when it's playing?
Thanks, any answers would be great.

Based on what I know from AoK, you can add a trigger that plays a sound file. Seeing that AoM had multiple triggers like "start music", "stop music", and so on, and that the devs said that the Empires Editor would be really powerful, I'd bet they include that feature.
--------- PS: Just to be nit-picking: "Music" is not a noun. For example, you can't say that "you bought a CD with 13 musics on it" if the CD cntained 13 tracks. I know, nothing major, but I just wanted to point it out. No harsh feelings, I know that English is tough.

They will most likely include a "Play Sound" type of trigger, but I'm not sure about fading the sounds. That would be a cool feature.
Quoted from Merriam-Webster OnLine (http://www.m-w.com/):
Main Entry: mu·sic Pronunciation: 'myü-zik Function: noun Usage: often attributive Etymology: Middle English musik, from Old French musique, from Latin musica, from Greek mousikE any art presided over by the Muses, especially music, from feminine of mousikos of the Muses, from Mousa Muse Date: 13th century 1 a : the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity b : vocal, instrumental, or mechanical sounds having rhythm, melody, or harmony
Just to be nit-picky, music is a noun, but I get what ya mean.

Didn't they have this feature in the EE editor?

I forgot.
There is a Play Sound effect in EE, but I haven't gotten it to play long music files, just small voice lines.

SSSI have added a bunch of helpful triggers, most of which have been suggested directly from the community, Since they're kicking the quality up a huge notch, I think we should expect a sound and music fade trigger, afterall it's not one of the most difficult triggers to script.

Wonderful if it is in the game, but I highly doubt it. Besides could just as easily add it through a sound editor.
